Hi! I’m Kayla, and I’m proud to call Bismarck, North Dakota, my hometown. My career in wedding planning started in North Dakota, where I worked with a catering team and assisted Megan with weddings. I then moved to New Orleans to plan weddings and a variety of events, and eventually made my way to Colorado, where I get to help couples say “I do” in Rocky Mountain National Park!

My favorite part of wedding planning is giving couples the freedom to actually enjoy their wedding day. There’s nothing better than watching a couple soak in the moment, knowing they can relax and be fully present while I’m behind the scenes making sure the details are taken care of.

I love that no two weddings are ever the same, and I’m a firm believer that the little details are what make a wedding feel personal and meaningful. I’m also the person who gets a little too excited about a good timeline, a perfectly organized spreadsheet, and figuring out how a million moving pieces can all come together seamlessly. Basically, I genuinely love the logistics so you don’t have to!

When I’m not wedding planning, you’ll probably find me outside - whether I’m hiking with my fiancé, walking my dog, Millie, spending time at the lake, or enjoying my morning coffee while watching the sunrise. I also love a cozy night at home watching New Girl or Grey’s Anatomy, a classic rom-com, or indulging in the Hallmark Channel during the holidays. And, of course, I’m always down for an excuse to go get ice cream!

While I love my life in Colorado, I’ll always be excited for an excuse to come back home and help a couple plan their wedding day!
