Miki & Tylerโ€™s Sandbar & Lake Home Wedding

08.14.21๐Ÿ’ซ

Miki found me over a year ago and called with a simple request: a woodland wedding at her parents lake home & shop with a sandbar ceremony, bounce house, hidden bar in the woods, glamping set up, yard games, scavenger hunt, and dance floor under the stars for over 400 guests.

Ok, not so simple, but it was an EASY yes.

Miki invited me into her life and I was so grateful to meet the most special people. Miki is one of the most gentle souls I have ever met. Even though she experienced some wedding and life hiccups, she never once made a fuss about it. I admired how calmly and rationally she made decisions, yet I knew she always was confident in every one.

She trusted me to help design her entire wedding, so I hopped along on florist meetings, designed floor plans and a spreadsheet with hyperlinks and prices to help make her design choices easy, and guided her when she didnโ€™t care about the details and just wanted to marry her favorite person.

It was an honor to spend so much time with you both. Seeing you exchange vows (twice) in one day was a dream. Pouring champagne for guests while the woodland ceremony was wrapping up was another dream๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿฅ‚

Thank you to everyone who kicked butt at this beautiful wedding //

Hennenโ€™s,

Thank you so much for welcoming me into your lives. You will take this world by storm, I just know it.

Curious how I put this all together?! An outdoor wedding is no easy feat. See my latest blog on how to plan a backyard wedding.
