Oh Ash - how I miss our wine dates with Cathy.

16 years in the making, and FINALLY, these two tied the knot - Exactly how they’ve always wanted to.

the venue

Her grandfather left their home for her, and they got to start their journey together on the grounds she grew up on.

These two are something special - with over 50 house plants (all with different names) how can you not be?

the experience

Ashley’s eclectic, bohemian, vintage decorating style made this wedding one for the books. She had BIG dreams - including a hand washing station (because why NOT spruce up the bathroom experience?!), a homemade sangria bar, fancy infused water, dim lighting, cozy seating areas, yard games galore, an intimate ceremony allowing for more mingling and visiting - LESS formality. So you know what we did?! That and MORE.

So, together, we built this wedding from the ground up.

From making a custom self-emcee guide for her friend Amber, to lighted pathways leading to the self-made parking lot, to bringing in vendors for tables, chairs, garbages, security, the tent, lighting, power, flooring, walls, bar staff, and more.

I just adored how Ash cared so much about the experience of the day. She passed on the traditional ceremony to give them 3 extra hours of socializing, where they spent QUALITY time circling through their lifelong friend groups, playing games, drinking custom cocktails, and enjoying THE most beautiful fall day. (thank heavens ND cooperated, and we could cancel our back-up venue!)

I genuinely miss you & your positivity, joy, and zest for life, Ash! And boy, do I miss getting brought right into your beautiful circle of people.

Can’t wait to see how many more plants you buy in the NEXT 16 years ;)
